I'm so behind

I have a billion photos to print, and I didn't realzie how behind I am in my sons book. I decided to make a scrapbook just for him, kindof a baby book type thing.... anyway, I have so many pages to do. I need to have a weekend retreat in my office lol....
I have so many pictures, it's hard to decide which ones to use..... ugh :P

My husbands first fish

This is my fishing page, I had a lot of fun doing it. I have to tell you about the picture of my husband with his little "minnow". (top left of second page) He actually had never caught a fish before, this was his first, and what was funny was he was sooo excited and showed my dad this little fish, and it was a bass smaller than his pocket knife... I wish I had been there. My dad took the picture on his cell phone and sent it to me... He'll never live it down, how proud he was of his little "minnow" :)

I have been experimenting with new things on my pages. For example, I've never tore my paper before, I haven't ever really used wire before this and my easter page either. I do like where it's going, I hope I can get a lot better and more creative. I tend to be a little too cut and dry. I would like to get into card making too... so far it hasn't really worked out for me. lol

I love chalk!!

I did my sons Easter page and I saw that it was missing something when I first cut it and peiced it together, it was sooo boring. I hadn't ever used chalk before so I went and got an awesome set and used it for the first time today.

This is what I made. I got the design from Klo.(Thanks!) and I gave it a shot. I I admit it's nowhere near as good as hers, but I think it looks ok. I did change a few things on the rest of the page though, I made some eggs out of my pictures, and made one for journaling along the grass at the bottom. I like it.....

I also tried wire.... I got some at the craft store, and I love it too.... although it's a lot harder than it looks to make things out of it, I'm having fun with it..... today I tried a butterfly.... lol needless to say, it didn't work. :)

Now I have to try to figure out what page to do next......

I have been on a scrapping frenzy the past few days, I've gotten old projects done and started a few new ones. This is one I did today of my husbands motorcycle. I used my pazzles machine for most of it. I like it but I think it needs something.....
