I'm this weeks Pazzles Fabulous FInd Winner!

I won this weeks fabulous find.  I'm so excited!  I made this card for a friend of mine and I had posted a picture of it on pazzlescraftroom.com and they picked my card.  My husband helped me with it, and I LOVE how it turned out.

One of my Christmas cards....

Pretty sure I'm safe posting this as most people who got this card do not look at my blog.  Anyways, it's a simple card but I think still elegant.  I just used a gel pen for the gold words in the background, the snowman is a stamp and I used my Cats eye chalks to chalk the gold on the flourish at the bottom.  I did make some other cards but can't post them yet....    ;)  Once they are delivered I will post them.  I can't wait!

Christmas cards

SO, it's already the middle of December and I have only gotten 2 of my cards ready to mail.  I need to make one or two more for people I want to add to the list.  I have some really neat ideas in mind, I just need to make them.  ugh so much to do, so little time.  Ive had some personal matters to attend to, and a recent influx of medical issues as well.  Life just doesn't give a break does it.  Oh well, I can handle it.
I can't wait to post pics of the cards I've made, I can't yet because I don't want them to see it.  ;)

It's snowing!

There's nothing better than waking up in the morning all warm and snuggly, and opening the windows to see it snowing.  Big, white snowflakes falling from the sky, turning everything it lands on white.

It's about 25 degrees here right now, and I love it.  The cold crisp air, blowing snowflakes in my face.  :)  Heaven.
I told my son I'd take him outside to play in it here in just a little bit.  Right now we're sitting at the table by the window eeating blueberry waffles just watching the snow.  The husband just left for work, and said as he drives it looks like he's driving into a blizzard.    Reminds me of hen I was a kid living in Alaska.  I wish I could go back.  One day I will.  Snowball fights, sledding ad skiing.  We used to have snowball fights along the road we had t walk home from school.  We would hide under the pine trees where the snow fell and made a little space under the branches big enough for us to crawl in. We wuld pop out like groundhogs when the other kids would walk by and pelt them with snowballs.  Good times.
